“M-CLINIC”
MISSION : To operate 1000 Mobile Health Vans to provide free primary healthcare to 25 million Indians in rural India.
THE PROBLEM : The rural part of India suffers from the inadequacy and inaccessibility of primary healthcare services.
THE SOLUTION : A Mobile Health Van fully equipped with a MBBS doctor and medicines providing ADCR (Awareness, Diagnosis, Cure, Referral) primary healthcare services. Hospital on Wheels or M Clinic or Gaonaspatal is operation in different parts of Champaran and Patna District, Bihar since 2013. It not only brings primary health services at door step of poor or needy, but also refers them to PHCs or District Hospitals for better treatment. Check up and distribution of medicines are done for free. Awareness regarding several health issues is also undertaken at villages. In 2016 -18, M- Clinic has covered East Champaran District of Bihar and Dumka District of Jharkhand. More than 5000 people have been benefited so far.
